PRO BOXING BACK IN GLENDALE, CA ON MARCH 14TH

Glendale Fight Night VII To Once Again Host Solo Boxeo Tecate on Unimas

Top Rank, in association with Bash Boxing, Art of Boxing Promotions, and the Glendale Civic Auditorium in Glendale, California, brings Solo Boxeo Tecate on Unimas back to the "Jewel City" on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 7:00pm.

Following up two sold out events in August and December, GLENDALE FIGHT NIGHT VII will once again feature prospects from the Top Rank stable as well as some of the Los Angeles area's most promising pugilists in what is sure to be another capacity crowd at the Glendale Civic Auditorium.

Two exciting 8 round Super Featherweight bouts will be part of the televised broadcast of the Solo Boxeo Tecate series live on Unimas, as undefeated prospect Toka Khan Clary (14-0, 9KOs) takes on perennial spoiler Edwin "Tiburon" Solis (6-2-3, 4KOs) out of Pomona, California, and Sylmar, California's Sergio "Tarasco" Nunez (12-1-1, 8KOs) faces off against Angel "Humilde" Rodriguez (11-1, 5KOs).

A highly decorated U.S. amateur standout, Rhode Island's Toka Khan Clary has been blazing through the professional ranks despite just being 22 years of age. The fighter known as "T-Nice" possesses a combination of speed, skill, and heart - the ingredients of yet another future World Champion for Top Rank. Standing in Clary's way will be his biggest professional challenge to date in the tenacious and unbending Edwin Solis, who has gained a reputation as one of the toughest "outs" in the Super Featherweight division. Solis is no stranger to putting blemishes on the faces of his opponents and their records as he has gone undefeated (3 wins, 3 draws) since September of 2012 despite the combined records of his past six opponents being (57-8-5).

After traveling south of the border for his last 6 bouts in Mexico, Sylmar's Sergio "Tarasco" Nunez will welcome the short drive down the Interstate 5 Freeway for his March 14th feature bout at GLENDALE FIGHT NIGHT. Nunez is a decorated amateur who made his professional debut at 18 and is also a boxing coach at American Fight Factory, one of San Fernando Valley's largest Martial Arts gyms. As with most prospects appearing on GLENDALE FIGHT NIGHT, Nunez will also be facing one of the toughest challenges in his professional career as he meets Venezuela's Angel "Humilde" Rodriguez
(11-1, 5KOs). Rodriguez will be making is U.S debut after campaigning his entire career in Mexico.

After witnessing 2012 London Olympics Silver Medalist Esquiva Falcoa perform twice in Glendale, local fight fans attending Glendale Fight Night VII now be treated to Olympic Gold as Russia's Egor Mekhontsev, the 2012 London Olympics Gold Medalist in the Light Heavyweight Division, will appear on the card. Since turning professional in 2013, Mekohnstev has gone undefeated in 7 bouts with 6 of those bouts ending by knockout. Consistent with the theme of GLENDALE FIGHT NIGHT VII, Mekhontsev will be facing his toughest professional challenge to date as he faces off against Two-Time World Champion Challenger and former USBA and NABA Champion, Yusef Mack (31-8-2)

Rounding out the undercard will be the return of El Monte's undefeated Welterweight Arnold Barboza Jr. (5-0), Duarte's undefeated Super Featherweight Luis Sedano (4-0), Santa Ana's Filipino sensation Gloferson Ortizo (2-0-1), Corona's Ray Mena (1-0-1), and the return of Freddie Roach protégé, Cem Kilic (2-0).
