L.A.'s Hottest Boxing Show To Host Solo Boxeo Tecate on Unimas
Top Rank, in association with Bash Boxing, Art of Boxing Promotions, and the World Famous Florentine Gardens Nightclub in Hollywood, California, brings Solo Boxeo Tecate on Unimas to "Tinseltown" on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 7:00pm.
The May 30th show will mark the ninth installment of the HOLLYWOOD FIGHT NIGHT series, without a doubt the hottest and sexiest boxing show in the country featuring VIP bottle service by contracted professional runway and print models, alluring ring card girls, non-stop go-go dancers, and live surprises and entertainment in every show.
The main event is currently scheduled to be a battle of two 22-year-old unbeaten prospects as Saul "El Dinamita” Rodriguez (16-0, 13KOs) faces off against Antonio Capulin (14-0, 6KOs). Since 2013, Riverside's Rodriguez has disposed of his last 8 opponents by stoppage, including some highlight reel knockouts on Unimas. Capulin makes his California debut after fighting his entire career in his home state of Texas.
Another young and undefeated prospect from the Top Rank stable, Alex Saucedo (17-0, 12KOs), will also be making his California debut in the supporting bout on Solo Boxeo Tecate on Unimas. Saucedo was born in Chihuahua, Mexico and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma but he is no stranger to California. Saucedo became the first boxer from Oklahoma to be signed by Top Rank when Manny Pacquiao recommended him to the Top Rank brass after sparring sessions at the Wildcard Boxing Club with the then 17 year-old Oklahoman. Now a 17-fight veteran at just 20 years of age, Saucedo looks to continue to show the entire boxing world what the kid from the Sooner State is made of.
HOLLYWOOD FIGHT NIGHT 9 will feature some familiar names to local boxing fans:
• Undefeated El Monte Welterweight Arnold Barboza Jr. (6-0) goes for lucky win #7
• Duarte Lightweight Luis Sedano (4-0-1) looks to improve off a draw in his last bout
• Freddie Roach Middleweight protégé Cem Kilic (3-0) fights right up the street from Wildcard Boxing Club for the first time
• Glendale Welterweight Vatch Martirosyan (4-0) comes to Little Armenia to display his family’s greatest talent
• Pacoima Super Featherweight Michael Norato (1-0) looks to build off his pro debut knockout win last month.
• Welterweight Jesse Martinez from Woodland Hills makes his pro debut
HOLLYWOOD FIGHT NIGHT 9 takes place on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Florentine Gardens Hollywood, located at 5955 Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood, California.
