Toka Kahn Clary still unbeaten


Unbeaten super featherweight Toka Kahn Clary (15-0, 9 KOs) had all he could handle with aggressive Edwin Solis (6-3-3, 4 KOs), but came away with a hard fought eight round unanimous decision on Saturday night at the Glendale Civic Auditorium in Glendale, California. Scores were 78-74, 78-74, 78-73.

Unbeaten 2012 Olympic light heavyweight gold medalist Egor Mekhontsev (8-0, 7 KOs) got a first round win when opponent Marcelo DaSilva (18-5, 12 KOs) hurt his hand with his first punch. Time was :31.

Super featherweight Angel Rodriguez (12-1, 5 KOs) outpointed Sergio “Tarasco” Nunez (12-2-1, 8 KOs) over eight rounds by scores of 78-74, 78-74, 79-73.

Unbeaten super featherweight Luis Sedano (4-0-1, 1 KO) recovered from a third round knockdown to salvage a draw against Karl Garcia (4-4-1, 1 KO). Scores were 38-37 for Garcia, 38-37 for Sedano and 38-38.

Unbeaten middleweight Cem Kilic (3-0, 3 KOs) scored a second round KO over Tony Juarez (0-5-1).
