Rodriguez tops Capulin in battle of unbeatens, Saucedo stops Giurecio in four

In a clash of unbeaten super featherweight prospects, Saul “El Dinamita” Rodriguez (17-0, 13 KOs) scored an eight round unanimous decision over Antonio “Kid Crisis” Capulin (14-1, 6 KOs) on Saturday night at the famous Florentine Gardens Nightclub in Hollywood, California. Rodriguez scored a knockdown in round one, then unleashed a furious assault in round two that Capulin did well to survive. After that the pace slowed and Rodriguez went on to a unanimous verdict. No scores were announced.

Undefeated welterweight prospect Alex “El Cholo” Saucedo (18-0, 13 KOs) impressed again with a fourth round TKO against Jake “The Bull” Giurecio (17-4-1, 4 KOs). Saucedo dropped Giurecio with a left hook in round three and the bout was waved off after Saucedo staggered Giurecio with a barrage of punches in round four. Time was :49.

WBC #8 rated cruiserweight Dmitro Kucher (23-1, 17 KOs) scored a first round TKO over Bobby Thomas Jr. (14-4-1, 9 KOs). After completing the first round Thomas went back to his corner and he informed the corner he couldn’t continue. Referee Ray Corona then stopped the contest.
