IMPORTANT MESSAGE REGARDING THIS SATURDAY'S CXF SHOW

Dear Friends,

Close members of our fight community, MMA fighter/trainer Marcus Kowal and his wife Mishel Eder, are enduring one of the most horrific nightmares imaginable with the passing of their 15-month old son, Liam.

This unthinkable tragedy occurred last weekend when an alleged drunk driver struck Liam and his teenage aunt in a marked intersection in Hawthorne. The 72 year-old driver fled the scene but was followed and stopped by good Samaritans and was then arrested on DUI and hit-and-run charges.
After fighting valiantly in the ICU, Liam Mikael Kowal succumbed to his injuries. Liam’s aunt suffered serious injuries but is in stable condition after surgery. Liam’s parents have elected to donate their only son’s organs to other children in need.

During this Saturday’s California Xtreme Fighting show at the Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City, we will conduct a Silent Auction of autographed MMA and Boxing memorabilia, with all proceeds going to the Kowal family.

If you are unable to make it to the show but would like to help the Kowal family in their time of need, please visit and share the Go Fund Me Memorial Fund link below:

Our friends at Custom T-Shirt Printing have also donated t-shirts in memory of Liam Kawal which will be sold at the show or can be purchased online at www.fightmeclothing.com
and www.down2scrap.com.
Thank you for your prayers and support. Many fighters and cornermen participating in Saturday’s show are directly affected by this tragedy and we will all be there with very heavy hearts.

If you have any questions or suggestions on how to lend your support, please respond to this email or contact

RIP
LIAM MIKAEL KOWAL
