Due to a high volume of ticket sales, 100 seats have been added to tonight's BOXING BY THE BEACH Professional Boxing Show at the Oceanview Pavilion in Port Hueneme, California.

While the entire country watches Santa Barbara's own Francisco "Chia" Santana face off against Ed Paredes on Solo Boxeo Tecate on UniMas, local fight fans in the Ventura County area will be treated to 8 exciting live bouts at Boxing By The Beach.

Two 8-round bouts will highlight the undercard. First, 2012 London Olympics Gold Medalist Egor Mekhonstev (11-0, 7KOs) will face off against local Oxnard favorite Victor Barragan (12-9-1, 4KOs) in a Light Heavyweight tilt that is sure to bring fireworks.  Mekhontsev has faced stiff competition in the early part of his professional career and the tough and rugged Barragan will be no different.  Barragan will be making his Oceanview Pavilion homecoming after fighting in Port Hueneme nearly ten years ago on April 28, 2006.

Then, Orange County Lightweight Luis Ramos Jr. (25-2, 10KOs) will make his Top Rankpromotional debut against former World Featherweight Champion Cristobal Cruz (40-19-4, 24KOs).  Ramos Jr. started his professional career winning his first 23 bouts including victories over fellow Top Rank fighter and multiple world title challenger Ray Beltranand Oxnard's David Rodela. Mexico's Cruz has become a formidable gatekeeper to aspiring prospects looking to test themselves in deeper waters and Ramos will have to contend with the over 60 bout experience that Cruz brings to every bout.

The Solo Boxeo Tecate on Unimas opener will feature a 6 round Super Featherweight scrap between undefeated Xavier Martinez (4-0, 2KOs) and once beaten Gabriel Gutierrez (3-1, 2KOs). While a battle of undefeated prospects will be sure to bring the crowd to its feet as Robert Garcia trained prodigy Alexander Besputin (2-0, 2KOs) will go against the grain and face an undefeated prospect early in his professional career when he meets Christon Edwards (6-0, 3KOs) in a 6 round Super Welterweight bout.

Also on the show will be a Southern California showdown between Torrance's Eddie Diaz and Abraham Lopez from Rowland Heights, and the professional debuts of Maxim Dadashev and Oscar Mendoza.

With tickets starting at just $40 for General Admission, the show was approaching a sell out before fight week began. Local organizers have added 100 seats at the Oceanview Pavilion, ensuring that all fans that want to come out and watch the show live in the beautiful city of Port Hueneme will have a chance to do so.
